Got my new Musky Shop catalogue today. The red October ad caught my eye.I love my twisted tubes but what's up with this photo? Looks like a nice muskie after dark but the guy has sunglasses on? Pretty sunny out there at midnight?

I have to admit, one of the first things I look for in a musky magazine is the ROB ad.  I think the shots are always ridiculously awesome and are usually local boys from the NMA.  This new ad is John Miller.  His brother, Jerry, was on an ad from a few years back...

I recognized John too!! The background has probably been darkened for effect. It also almost looks like the fish swallowed a flashlight. There is red eye on the fish so a flash was used. It would be funny if the fish had shades too!

John is a great guy and very experienced fisherman. He teaches grade school in the Buffalo area. He has kids raising trout and stocking a small stream and teaches and takes them them fishing.
