Well another day of boat riding on Seneca Lake. First readers Creek and then around Sampson and then across the lake to Dresden. I wish I could say we caught some perch but I would be lying. One of these days.,.............

I hear some guys talk about the south end being good.watkins glen

The perch fishing has been lousy down there, too.  Just that kind of year, I suppose.

It has been one of those years so far....hopefully it changes.  We have been to watkins a few times with low low numbers....4 fish between 2 guys all day.  Even tho we seen a wad of them on the camera so we weren't fishing dead water.

Careful John, he just might have some company lol. My suggestion would be to try and leader down, smaller bait, live like tip it with spikes, oh yea, keep moving around with electric trolling, less anchoring. It's def been a tough winter as they are spooky as hell.

I guess they call the lure mimic minnow, have to wait now till it warms up some here.MY son uses his bass boat and is always moving like you said.Little anchoring. Also best time is early and late, sunny days are slow as the fish are shallow 10 ft now.You hardly ever see them but they ar there.

I wish I could get my livewell to look like that.  Next warm up for me to try again.  I will start another year of humility (or frustration) on Seneca.
