I pretty much exclusively fish hardbaits whether trolling or casting. Occasionally we jig em...didnt even know that lure till i looked it up...then i recognized it at least...☺

Do any of you walleye fisherman still use CP Swing spinners any more?

Not CPswings but #4 Vibrex spinners. Cut off hook add a 12" peice of 12# fluro with a #8 SPRO swivel and a Slow Death.

Mike,

Have you ever tried a small spoon behind that rig instead of a slow death?

Ice fishing? Trolling? Drifting/Jigging?

What were you planning on doing? In the spring, summer, and fall I exclusively troll because where I fish the eyes aren't stacked on each other and need to cover a lot of ground. I usually troll deep diving stickbaits on 80'-160' leads all depends on what is producing.

No I haven't, kind of like a reverse worm burner, with a spoon. I don't see why it wouldn't work. Macks smile blades makes something simular DJ.

I have a couple hundred cp swings, mainly used them for trout fishing in PA. Won them off a buddy at his camp playing poker. Worked awesome for little trout, they worth trying for ice fishing you think?
