Any recent lake trout reports?

I was looking to go laker fishing one weekend and was wondering what lakes are hot and on which baits they're hitting. Any suggestions on lakes and lures would be great!

Welcome to LOU, Cayuga and Seneca both should be fishable. Mag dipsy with FF, bump bottom around 100' deep, or spoons in shallow, 50' they should be hungry.

I'll assume the lack of comments already may be due to people sleeping or lack of posts. Guys on here can be picky. Gotta earn the keeps! Welcome to LoU. Great bunch of guys here. As you'll learn in time, I'm a seneca guy. Can't give you much info on other lakes. I do know currently Lakers are being hit out of the west side state launch+severene. Occasional silver mixed in

Watkins Glen always has hit or miss days this time of year until late spring. Flat line and short cores/coppers work really well. Look for the one degree in temp change in these locations and you will get some. Good luck. If you ever want a little extra info, just PM someone. Good luck! Time for my flight outta here!
