Fished the North end of Cayuga with a Father from PA and his two young sons. We set up at around 6am started with a nice rainbow off the boards. Then it was laker time we put 15 in the boat and lost a few. They did a nice job on the rods and put 3 over 9lbs in the boat. We were just about to finish I cranked the speed up to 2.6mph and a rod went off right at quiting time. After a long fight by a ten year old we put a 13.8 lb laker in the boat. All other fish were released. I even stopped the boat let all my rigs sink while I revived the big fish. He took off for the bottom but five minutes later he was on top dead. Well he is on the way to the taxidermist now to make one 10 year old boy a nice trophy.

My Dad with the fish.

I wish I could have seen the look on the face of the 10 year old. It must have been priceless. Congratulations on such a nice trip. That is one nice fish. ;)
