Hit the home port for the first time this year. 5 or 6 trailers in the lot when we launched about 8:15. We tried out in front of the piers for a couple passes with no success so picked up ran to keg. Only ran 4 rods, 2 planers and two riggers.

Doubled up on our first pass with both fish on the boards.

Next pass produced a hard fighting lake trout off the outside rigger. My buddy had fun with him on the med. light rod.

Next pass a decent brown took the spoon off one of the riggers and another cookie cutter hit the outside planer for our second double.

We got one more cookie cutter and a 15" brown on the planer after a few empty passes and called it a day. Ended 7 for 7.

Here is what we took fish on today, each took multiple fish.

Was that an Alumacraft? Beautiful out there today. Wish I was still out. Thought about sliding out a bit deeper after the bite died down but decided to call it a day. Water is still pretty cold, 37 in front of keg. Mostly gobies in the two Browns we kept so the emeralds haven't arrived. That spoon was our best lure today, took the bigger brown and the laker.
