It's been 2 years since I've had my boat in the water. Met Nick at sandy creek launch and out in the lake we went. Motors ran great as we worked 7 to 15 ft out front where the was some patches of good colored water. Our knockout spoons off the riggers were our best baits today. We finished 6 for 8 not great but considering the amount of boats working the same small amount of colored water I'll take it. Great to be back on the water!

We launched at the the Same time you did. We started at the mouth and trolled east to the light house. We ended up 4/8. Three browns and ?Steelhead or coho?. Or steelhead had "scoliosis". We caught our fish 10-13 fow. Jointed rapala in fire tiger was best lure, took 2 and lost 2. Great day on the water for early March

Glad things worked out with the boat Dave and it had to feel great to get out there. Good luck with the rest of the season. :)

Congrats on getting the old girl back in the saddle and a good day of fishing.

Just curious but what ended up working for you with the fix on the the rivets?

I had my little 14footer and mentioned to "don't forget your plug", at the launch.

I went west and managed 6 for 6, all browns between the water tower and the beach.
