Niagara County Ladies fishing tournament

Posting for my wife and her committee. Inspired by a similar fundraising tournament held in Oswego in June, this years Niagara event will be August 19th 2016. Boats can leave from the ports of Olcott and Wilson. The event will raise funds for all types of women's cancer, and have a small purse and trophies for the ladies to compete for. Ladies teams will consist of 2--6 with a maximum of 2 men onboard. Teams can consist of private rec boats and Charter boats. A list will be created for Charter Captains who would like to be booked for the event by a womens team looking to participate. Event was a huge success! Many ladies got to experience Lake O fishing for the first time and many dollars were raised for Mary's wig room.

 

Top 5 placing teams:

 

1st) "Hooked on a cure" aboard Hotline

2nd) "Smelting hearts"  aboard Stalker

3rd) "Team Instigator" aboard Instigator

4th) "Fish-N-chicks" aboard Thrillseeker 2

5th) "Freddy's angels" aboard Yankee Pride

 

Big Fish award went to "Chrissy's crew" aboard 716 Sportfishing with a 20.94lb King

I heard Great things about this event.  Marlene enjoyed it thoroughly as part of the Fish n Chicks team!  I know she cant wait for next year all ready.
