Saturday I headed out with Greg for his birthday and we had a great morning. Surface temps were between 52-54. We had a triple header just before 8:00, it was a hoot. ;D We managed to boat all three with the last being a 27.56lber. It was straight to tight lines to weigh in for Greg. :D

Here is a picture of the 27.56

Everything was working, spoons, flies

A-Tom-Mik #23 fly was the one boys.

Managed to get out Sunday for a couple hours and it was a lot slower, Surface temps were still good but not as many hooks. Ended up with a small teenager and lost another.

Should be picking up now with warmer water.

Good luck out there

Cheers

Al

That 27.56 lb King won Greg $5500 cash + 4 sponsor carry over day prizes.

Not bad for one days work.

Greg also leads the $500/day derby(Kings have to be 25 lbs + to weigh in through the month of June) with the big fish overall,at 28.00 lbs even.

Good show Al & Greg 8)8)8)
