looking to  buy 2  electric  downriggers  looking at scotty and cannon  and what size  weight  best 10 ore 12 will be fishing lake champlain mostly your imput  would be   a great help  thanks

I would go with cannon & 10 lb weight you will not be fishing as deep

I have been running the Cannon Mag 10 STX riggers for 2 years with no issues.  I fish a lot of lake trout and abuse my riggers.  My last set of Cannons were 12 years old and were great.
