1.8 - 2.2. Start with one speed and make small adjustments until you get bit. Let the fish tell you what they want that day.

You have to find what speed works for you and your spread. I've seen guys trolling 3.0 GPS speed on top in ice water do very well. We typically like to go a little slower than that. 2.0-2.5 GPS speed. I think more important than speed is location.

I totally agree. The fish aren't stacked all along the shoreline this time of year, but are concentrated on the warmest water in the area. Watch your surface temperature (or down temp if equipped) Sometimes it's a matter of less than half a degree. If you find a warm pocket, there will be fish.

Did you check closely to make sure it wasn't the same one coming back time and again? :lol:
