After how slow it's been on Seneca the last few weeks Josh , Scott and I decided to try our luck on Cayuga.. We launched about 6 a.m. and decided to stay shallow the first few hours and fish for silvers .. We did well boating many landlocks and one good beautifully colored up brown then the fleet moved in and we decided to move out and look for some laker action... We struggled to find the Lakers at first but once we located them we dropped the mag divers down with Iron Duke UV Extravaganza Fly and Green and yellow UV fly that we were field testing and it wasn't long and we were bringing some decent Lakers to the boat.. We fished out of Josh's new to him Trophy and a big congrats to him on his new boat and he did a great job setting it up.. FLTA tournament tomorrow on Seneca and I hope we are able to locate some active fish tomorrow. . Beautiful day on the water..

Mike

Way to go Mike. We did the same thing after Seneca beat us down a bit these last few trips. Nice to get some action for a change! When we were out of South end on Cayuga we found many marks down between 80 and 120ft in 200-250 feet of water but could get any to hit so we switched over to sticks and went shallow and had good luck on the salmon. That brown is beautiful
