Home made planer boards

After debating whether or not planer boards would help my trolling efforts in the kayak to keep my lines from crossing I decided to build my own out of an $0.88 walmart cutting board and a broken aluminum arrow and this was the result.  The pencil lead across the bottom needed to be added to keep the keel down.  Worked great last week and is only 6" x4".  We'll see how well it pulls deep diver's in the future but for small sticks I'm very happy with the set that cost me $14 for a set of 2.
