Put in a Treman at 6:30. Lost a nice brown at the boat before we even got all the lines out. Caught around 20 land locks before we pulled out a 1:00. Rainbow trout jointed and unjointed did a lot of damage, and a black and silver jointed rebel. We got about 12 on flat lines 200 and 250 back. Rest came off inlines 120 and 150 back.

Many of the fish were puking up minnows. My son pulled two out of 22 incher we got.

Over all a great day fishing with my son.

We launched same place about same time. Fished til 4:00. Only one decent brown about 6 pounds. We boated over 60 fish. Mostly small land locks. What a fun day!!!!

Yea it was a fun. 20 was conservative estimate 60 is a banger day. Missed a bunch too. We were in a 14 ft blue Starcraft. Spent a lot of time off the cliffs on east side.

Charlie they are a good eating size. Did you take home a limit or two of those 15 and 16 inch salmon ?

Problem with smacking those small salmon is most of them don't make it when you let them go. We usually move out of an area when we get into them or drop deeper. When your flat lining it's hard to avoid them when you first get into them they hit everything. Nice Brown! Sean

Ahab kept 2 both over 20. Lol. I did miss read the regs to be honest. I do appreciate the heads up. I pulled up the regs on my phone and it say's all finger lakes except Cayuga etc 15 inchers. When you posted I went back and checked again. Luckily I came off the lake legal with the two I had kept.
