So, I was out trolling around this past weekend when my auto pilot and GPS started going haywire!!!

I currently run a Raymairne C-120 plotter with a ST 8001 auto pilot with a Raystar 125 receiver, after Polk around Hull truth they say there's a battery in the Receiver that needs to be changed every so often. I've had it for 10 years so it's prob past due.

My question is should I bother changing the battery or upgrade to the new 130 receiver?

My only hang up is, it compatible with my dated but working flawlessly setup?

Do I need a conversion kit?

Any and all responses are greatly appreciated.

Raymarine claims that there are no user serviceable parts inside.

Raymarine Classic Multifunction Displays require a SeaTalk1 to SeaTalkng converter to connect an RS130.
