Gas tank

Ok I have a 22' trophy and I have a 9.9 merc kicker on it. It's a 2stroke, now I'm crapped for space where do I put the gas tank? Do I leave it on the swim platform (don't like that idea i.e. Water)

Any ideas would be great.

Before I decided to do without the kicker on my old Trophy WA, I thought putting the aux. gas tank in the motor well for the outboard was ideal. If you have an IO, that's a tough one.

I do have an io, that's where I would like to put it but not much room. I was thinking of moving the batterie's but that's a lot to move..

Yeah, tough one. Maybe bungee it to the top center of your motor box. Mount some small stainless loops on either side of the box to hook the bungees to. They would double up to hold a cooler on fun days too. IDK. Just a thought.

I think the dilemma is that the 2 stroke requires mixed fuel and the IO does not...thus two different fuel sources.

Yeah that's my problem Its set up for a 4stroke and I have a 2stroke.

A tee will allow a loss of suction in the fuel pump as the vent is open to the atmosphere.
