Roemer Liberator

Anyone have experience with the Roemer Liberator releases?  I am thinking about adding a cheater to each of my downriggers instead of stacking and thought that release would be effective.  I have never used a cheater but saves on the amount of rods in the water.  I assume if a fish strikes the cheater the release opens and slides down to the first swivel on your main line?

We've use them on the Fish Doctor boat for a long time.  We like them a lot.  We have a video with some rigging tips on our website.

They are a great option for fixed cheaters.
