for lake o 3 to 4 footers is the norm.calling for winds 15 to 20 this weekend and it will probably get rough but it doesn't mean you won't be able to fish in the early morning.you can always drive east and fish Irondequoit or Sodus bay

You could also go west and launch at Fort Niagara and fish the river. Last I heard theyre still getting some steelhead and lakers in there.

Looks like you might have a window first thing Saturday am. Other than that the weekend is screwed

Yeah Shawn my friend has an 18 foot Starcraft and 4's on Erie were somewhat obnoxious in my opinion as far as comfortability. I have a 20 foot starweld. It did really well the first outing. But this will only be its second journey ever

If your planning on getting fishing time in Saturday and Sunday the last place I would go would be Ontario. Waves 3ft building to 6 and a cold front. No Good

One thing to remember too is that those wave height predictions are averages and there may be waves twice the size predicted.

I have a couple sites that I use and I don't think anyone on the US side will be fishing Sat. past noon and no fishing on Sun. If you go out of Toronto you might be alright.
