Tried the pike for a couple hours this afternoon. Water temp was 53-56. Most of the water was very clear. Caught 2 small pike and had another follow. Also saw a few more in clear water. Fished 4-9 fow. We're casting stickbaits and mepps.

I've never done much in may on the SLR. Or anywhere else for that matter. I did catch a big bass yesterday,though.

Hey Kevin good to hear from ya, wasn't your best trip but I'm sure you'll have those pike dialed in like your eye program on SLR. Tight lines to you. Pap!!

We hit the BRB tonight for eyes and managed 1 pike (31" and 7 lbs) all spawned out. Few walleyes caught too but not in my boat. 18' over 23' on riggers with bombers in rainbow color. Temps 54-56.
