short trip this morning, Left the dock @ 5 And returned @ 10. Didnt see alot of boats out today (maybe 5 or so) and the radio was quiet also.

after spending an hour or so in search mode, we fished a screen in 225 fow. (64 degree surface and 51 degrees down 99') pulled fished between 35' down and 99' down. hot spoon bite off the riggers and the wire but couldnt get bubba to fire. 45-55' down was the hot spot. nbk, icb, mixed veggie, no name purple mag all took fish. ended the day 8 for 14 steelie and kings w/ big fish of the day an 18# king. hoping to get back on sunday but well see what the weekend brings.

Thanx for the report. If you see a 16 ft Sylvan out there that will be me. I usually will stay in around 100-150 but if the lake isn't too bad we may try it out a little deeper. Either that or fish for Smallmouths somewhere. Good luck to all this weekend.
