Had a late start today and made it to the water around 7. First we did a bit of brown chasing in 20' of water but we only managed to produce 2 less than mediocre brownies in one hour so it was time to go out deeper. We made our way toward seventy feet and  had a gigantic hit on the one ten pound brown trout line that was still in the water. This was 20 feet down over 60 feet. We were too busy resetting everything for bigger fish and did not react the proper way. After some acrobatics this beautiful fish broke the line and simultaneously spat the lure out in midair We ended up with no fish and no lure. but it did wake us out of our lazy mood.

For the rest of the day we picked at lakers with purple herring bone magnums and ended up with 3 of those, all in the ten pound range all on the dipsies which were out about 160 feet.

Not a great catching day, but a fantastic fishing day.

You really need to try gamblers cow bells if you're going to chase lakers they out fish anything else 20:1

I've got about a dozen, but I was trying for  a different target at 2.8 mph. But the kings were not around.
