looking for information, when is it and where to sign up for it. I know there is a north ramp to launch from but I have a hard top with a planer board mast on top of it is there any low clearance I need to worry about

Derby is the 11th and 12th. You can sign up at Seager marine or the Chamber of Commerce. I think you will be fine with clearance.

Paul covered it fisherdude but you may not be aware that the channel that leads out of the ramp into the lake is only about three ft deep or less in some spots. I often run with my trim up a bit till past the farthest (toward lake) red and green buoy marker at the mouth because when there are low water conditions (e.g. November etc.) you can sometimes hit with the prop shouldn't be an issue this time of year though.

I catch 90% of my csnandaigua Lakers on cowbells with gambler rigs
