Current is wicked, yesterday I had to go 2.6 mph one way and 1.7 the other.....I just bought this boat and don't have a probe, but I can get close by the bend in my dipsy and blow back on riggers. If anyone has a probe please help him, he isn't doing anything wrong, just wrong speed

Jim has a fish hawk X4. Not sure if it broke since last Friday, but it was working then. I've fished with him twice in the past month and he's fun to fish with. He catches fish, so maybe he was in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong bait. He covers a lot of water, to include the trench real early this morning. He puts out a variety of lures, flashers and colors, so who knows why he couldn't hook into one today.

His Islander has the 3ft extended motor mount with a Mercury outboard, so it handles real nice out there.
