My son is in middle achool and his teacher Mr Anderson started a field and stream club. I offered to take some kids out on the boat for a trip. We ended up getting 6 kids and the 2 chaperones on the boat. Left the docks at 6, got bqck at noon. Ended up landing 7 small kings, 1 small coho, 1 small steelie and a 31 inch laker. Lost about 6 more hits. Kids had a blast, even tripled up at one point...only to lose 2 of the fish! Hopefully the big boys will show up soon...but always happy to get the next generation going. Great group of kids, awesome to listen to a bunch of kids talk fishing and not stare at their phones. post-151248-14651690922279_thumb.jpg

Nice going!  I'm sure you made an even greater impact on them that you may think and a memory to last a long time

I know the weather changes everything, especially this week...but UV black tux was 5 for 8 between 50 and 70 fow before 9 am. Riggers and 300 copper. When the sun came up...it was a mixed bag of greens, even the laker, 120 down on a revolution green and black glow.
