The scrap yard by me was charging $.65 per pound, scrap lead if you sell it to the yard is going for $.40 per pound I'd say somewhere in between those prices would be fair

Well I did purchase some weight but I guess a lesson learned I thought the ones I was buying was torpedo but they were the old riviera weights. I have a dozen of those. Maybe 200 lb of cannon balls a old fish weights.

I just scraped 980 lbs of lead and got $320
