Environmental DNA collection on Lake Ontario

The Nature Conservancy needs volunteers to help collect water samples from Lake Ontario for environmental DNA testing.  Below is a list of dates that volunteers are needed.  The collection would be from a boat using an underwater camera.  If you would like additional information or would like to offer your assistance, please send an email to: [email protected].  Volunteers can either meet at our office on Ouderkirk Rd, Pulaski, or at the specific launch.

• Monday June 27th: Oswego River - Downstream
• Monday July 11th: Chaumont River - Downstream
• Monday July 25th: Salmon River - Upstream
• Monday, August 8th: Oswego River - Upstream
• Monday, August 15th: Chaumont River - Upstream
• Monday, August 22nd: French Creek – Upstream
