On the river yesterday with only a few smallies. Going out now to troll the narrows in 50ish FOW. Up here till Friday evening, any guidance would be much appreciated.

A few smallies was usually a average day for us when fishing the st. Lawrence around Alex bay area. Also we would troll during the day for walleye 25-40 feet depths deep diver reef runners usually land a couple keepers maybe a pike\ Muskie will hit. Jigging bucktails at night on shoals is good for a eye or two or a sheephead. Haha good luck purple is a good color choice

It's a tough fishery this time of year. Got into some bass, around 15 pike a few 5lb+, no eyes though. Heading to Oneida now for a change of scenery.
