Running copper on a Daiwa 47lc.... Good idea???? Opinions???

I have two new Daiwa 47lc and was wondering if they were ok for copper? I haven't run that yet and was thinking about giving it a try. If so, what size and length would be good? And a good rod? Thanks for the help!

go to atomic's website and check out what they use you need a deep sea reel for that stuff.

A 47lc, will only fit about 750' of backing and 100' of copper. This will get you down 22' and possibly spooled if you get a monster king.
