Both are too small (capacity) for using with copper. The 27's are often used for downriggers with mono or braid.

i have 27's for trolling on erie with 80# braid but that is for walleye.   if you need decent sized reels for wire without breaking the bank try Penn 309M's.   they are just big enough to fit some backing, a couple hundred yards of wire and then a leader.   i get em for about $59 each.  no line counters, but with color coded wire you wont need a counter.  decent reel all stainless steel and a pretty strong drag
