I used the Chinook diver for the first time last week and was very impressed. I found it dove quicker and was much easier to reel in than the dipsy diver. Anyone else have similar findings?.All of my big fish were taken with this setup using a spindoctor and fly combo, including some big steel.

I used them this spring. Not a fan. I'll stick to mag divers. I get a true 2 to 1 ratio on a one setting and they are much easier to adjust. The chinooks are nice to reel in though

We started using them on one side of the boat last year to see if we liked em. The dive ratio is different from the dipsey's, but the more we used them, the easier it got. There involves a lot more variables with 5 different size divers and moving the weight with a screwdriver, but we feel it's worth the trouble.
