I run mostly flasher/fly rigs for kings in the fall. Been using 20 lb. big game for many years but have been recently viewing seaguar invizx and other fluorocarbon mainlines. I've had problems with twisting and would like to know if Ontario Salmon fisherman recommend using the fluorocarbon mainlines or what best to run for downrigging fall kings.

You don't need fluorocarbon if your running paddles and flies/meat. I run straight 30# big game. If I run spoons,I will splice in a rod length of #17 blue label Seaguar. You will get a lot of opinions on main line companies.... Seaguar is the best leader. Lines I won't even have on my boat are P line, and vanish.....both lines suck big time.

Line twisting problems are almost always caused by terminal tackle.  Always run high quality snap swivels,  & keep an eye on your line for the first sign of line twist, & check your swivel for wear, & non smooth turning, as they do wear out.

good luck
