Im going to the islands this weekend and i am intrested in trying trolling for walleye and bass near grass point state park. I am wondering what depth to look for them and what techniques to use. Thank you

Trolling stick baits is effective. I use a 3 way setup that works well for me with the walleye. Look for typical predator structure.... Steep ledges, humps, and current breaks around heads of shoals and islands.... Combine these features with bait pods and thats a good starting point. Depending on time of day try working 25-55 fow. I have not set the world on fire with bass this year..... Hope this info gets u pointed in the right direction. Tight lines.

Might even try deeper during daylight hours ( night is better).Caught some in 75 fow. Also Poker run in A Bay will bring out the fast boat crowd. Going to be a busy hot weekend. Jigging spoons and bucktails also work as do worm harnesses.
