I was once again joined by Capt. Joe Pastore from the Set -N- Ready and my right hand man Joe this year for the shootout.

Friday:

We left the dock at 5:30 to search waters for Saturday in hopes of pulling one good one good one for Big Fish Friday. We set down just east of the creek in 160 fow and pointed her east. Fished are way to Braddocks most of the day just eliminating water for Saturday and that's exactly what we did as we only pulled one good fish all day! Fish weighed 19.83lbs and was obviously not going to be good enough for BFF. Congrats to Peace Of Work with their 29.80 King that they brought to the scales to win Fridays event!

Saturday:

We left the pier heads at exactly 5am and turned the boat west and Hammered down! We ran farther west then all other boats and set down right of of Oak Orchard. Fished west for the first 15mins with out a hit, so turned it around for an east troll. As soon as we did the fun began! Took our first King right away on a moonshine down 75 on the rigger over 130fow. After mainly small fish one after another we slid out to 140 fow and the coppers started doin there jobs! We put 5 more mature kings in the boat from the Oak to almost Devils Nose. We had a good box but knew it wasn't enough and we would need that kicker 27-30lber!

With no fish in the boat for some time, we divided to pick everything and hammer back down to the Oak before it was to late. Only difference was the chop had grown to 4s with occasional 5s. Once we set back down and deployed all our gear the 400 copper starts screamin!! After a good battle we got our upgrade just not as big as we hoped! We trolled all the way back to the nose with very little action. At 1 pm we picked up and headed in with a respectable box. After all was said done we manged 5th place out of 47 boats, which we were very happy with! A huge congratulations goes out to Team Sream N Reels for the impessive 1st place box and to Miss Demeanor for their monster 30.03 biggest King of the tournament! Also would like to thank all of our sponsors and everyone who fished this year's even!
