First Timer Advice (Oswego)

Lot of firsts planned for this coming Friday... First time to Oswego, first time on Ontario and hopefully catching my first salmon! Think we are going to launch from Wrights Marina but that's as much as I have figured out. Any advice on where to go or what to look for would be much appreciated.

Probably going to be a mess this coming weekend with harborfest going on.

Catfish creek , right down the road, you can stay there and its just east of the power plant, and the guys will tell you what they are catching them on

I'm open to launching from someplace different... I just heard they weren't catching them in Mexico and they were in Oswego.

Fair haven

If you can get to fair haven, did well, fished from 6 to noon on sunday and fished 120 too 250 100 feet down. Lots of fish black tuxedos

I can do fair haven it's actually only 15 mins further for me than Oswego.

definitely stay out of Oswego on Saturday, no parking and it will be a mess. Yeah harborfest!!

I actually have a trip planned to camp in the state park in fair haven the last weekend in August. This be a good trip to learn the lay of the land out that way. Appreciate the info guys thanks
