Ok so my fish hawk is not reading down temp or speed and I believe the probe works as the red light blinks when I drop it in water. So I'm thinking it's the transducer? I'm wondering in its even worth trying to open up the end connector and trying to make sure the connections are solid or just buy a new triducer. Thanks for lookin!

I would leave the transom ducer alone, try your probe on someone else's boat to rule out the probe. Once you break the seal on the ducer, it will be open to water infiltration.

Good luck

I had a similar problem. It turned out to be the connections on the back of the display unit. I pulled them out cleaned them off put them back in and bingo everything works again.
