Mad River Sports and Northport Nailers

I just ordered some tape for paddles/ spoons from Carl.  I had questions and they were answered promptly and the ease of ordering was terrific.  I read the report from Pap and he was right.  Carl does a fine job!   I highly recommend Mad River Sports.

If you haven't fished these for a few years, start!  They are great running spoons and the paint is outstanding and highly resistant to chipping and abuse.  I found that I can just call them and they send my spoons out right away.  These spoons are extremely speed friendly.  I know because I suck at speed control.  You can run them slow with meat and even cowbells.  They run great fast too.

 

Tell them you saw it on LOU if you order!  I'm trying to get them to distribute/advertise more to Lake Ontario.  Hat's off to Captain Mike Pastore who is the one who taught me the magic of the Northport Nailers among a million other things!
