Nice looking boat, saw the add on CL, why is the lower unit black while the rest of the motor is white?

Are all e-tec like that?

Beam is 100".  

 

Motor has a brand new lower unit which is black.   It matches the boat perfectly.    

 

I need to sell this ASAP, so make me an offer.
