diy trip to Henderson

 planning my 1st trip to lake ontario out of Henderson bay in 2 weeks to fish for kings and other salmon and trout cant what and hope the weather cooperates .just wanted to say thanks to all for the great posts on this sight and i am sure that it will help put a few extra fish in the boat any extra advice on this area would be greatly appreciated .thanks again HARD KNOX

Time should only make fishing better, not much happening there yet! I was  I'll be there labor day for a week...Keep watch on this site Henderson seems tight lipped but don't be afraid to trailer...

Check out the silver around calf thread.. They are talking about salmon around Calf island. I launch out of Henderson Harbor and usually set lines out in 130-150 FOW near Calf island.. The fish were there until we had all this wind. Now the water is cold and the fish have scattered. In 2 weeks there should be some good Salmon action in the trench( between stony island and the mainland)
