took two of my buddies fishing on cayuga . they have had no luck catching fish this year at all. we set up on the west side and was marking fish but nothing like it has been . an hour went by and no hook ups , man you guys are bad luck i said . then it turn into non stop action . lakers at first some were big most were small. we got sick of lakers so headed to east side and crank up the speed to 2.8 and we got into the land locks put 6 nice size ones in the cooler even had some type of fish hit hard to brake off a 15 pound leader . buddy had drag turn up for got to reset it . they caught a lot of fish today and were happy guys . the fleas and weed pods were not a issue at all again used spoons on two seth green rods only .

I think I saw you out there, I was in the trophy. We did 7 landlocks, lost about the same amount as well as one small mouth 50 down on the rigger on a ff. Great trip, dad's first out after his heart attack, he was feeling better and on the rod most the time ! We were running faster too, 3.11 gps speed seemed to be the magic number

We also went to deans cove today, got there a little late had a detour on route 89 for some bike race. We finally arrived . First time fishing with dipsey divers with wire. We kept with that program two dipsey rods with wire only. We went 8 for 9 . Two lakers,Two Rainbows and 4 salmon. All fish were released for another day. All fish caught on flasher and spoons. speed was 2.25 mph on the surface. Don't have a probe so i have no idea what the lure speed was, i was letting out 153 to 160 Ft  of wire over 70-120 of water hoping to get down to 50-60 ft. This trolling is all new to me.

We fished in front of aurora and caught around 25. Mix of silvers and lakers, but mainly small fish. Riggers, divers and 10 colors all took fish. Speed was anywhere from 2-2.8. Was a little bumpy there so speed was kind of a PITA. SIlver backed spoons and F/F both took fish.

Nbk spoons in Dreamweaver and r &r spoons all sizes hit fish for me as well as mountain dew SD , mirage fly . All riggers , not one diver shot. Went to just 4 on the rigger , setting alone I could barely keep up lol. Electric riggers saved ALOT of time lol.
