I'm kinda scratching my head on this....how do they get 32.5 degree temps at this time of year on the surface?

That map is mostly useless unless a cloudless sky. It measures via satellite heat signature.

absolutely correct! Cloud cover distorts the information.

Just a theory but there were NE winds yesterday upwelling the lake and being that the warm water is at the west end it might be close cause that happened last week with the blow as well.

I don't doubt the warm water being pushed west but my understanding is that the coldest water to be found at this point in the season is that which is the densest and pretty much on bottom that would be at the 39 degree mark. :lol:

Yah I heard there was 44* just outside outlet at Irondequoit from the last east blow but like I said I heard and don't know cause I don't waste my time when it turns iver

I had 82 degrees for a surface temp yesterday on 2 different fish finders and my fishhawk.  I am another vote for the clouds.

Perfect! Should make for some great lake effect snow squalls to snowmobile in come Winter!
