Lots and lots of boating experience but little in the way of Downrigger/salmon/lakers. we are 3 70 - 75 year olds who try fishing off of Frenchmans Bay three times a year but we see nothing and catch zero. (Our wives think we go watch strippers) We have No interest in keeping them we always put our catch Back and in good shape, however, we are not catching a thing in Lake Ontario. Any advise? Coordinates would help. Tweets.?VHF? Anything is better that what we are catching now.

Was slow for us after blow o couple weeks ago. Fish out deep 30 line and 50 to 100 feet down. Guys I was with were reluctant to go that far out and we missed the bite both days . Use nk28's. And dypsies out 200 to 240 . They will be back.
