Olcott fishing

I coming up to Olcott in the middle of the week. I'm not looking for any specific species but just to catch fish. What is the easiest and most predictable species to fish for right now and how (not looking for secrets). Ie target steelhead, lakers, juvenile or mature Kings.

With only catching a few steelheads on Erie walleye fishing, any specific colors. I always heard brighter the better but not sure if lake o is the same.

Regular or Stingray size Stingers always worked best for me. Dreamweaver Super Slim sizes as well. Spoons with orange are popular. Spoons with a white back have been popular lately too, such as DWB.
