Slow start to the morning, but ended up good after 9 am.

We did 9 for 9 on walleye, including a couple in the 8-9lb range. Little bit of everything....took 2 on a wire slide diver, 160 back on 3 with a DW chicken wing, 1 on a little slide diver of the boards, 195 back on a harness, 3 off the 10 color down the chute with a big watermelon mix hatchet blade,

a 3 off the rigs at 55 and 65, orange/chartreuse fishlander (size 0).

All in all, a pretty good morning.....

John I looked at your boat this spring and I thought about giving you a shout before my trip to Barcelona. I just ran out of time. It was a fairly decent pick for us. We worked 55-115 FOW west of port about 7 miles. Mostof the VHF chatter said that most boats were taking 1-5 fish with Monday being pretty slow. Do you have a remedy for those darn flies?

By the way I wound up buying a new Trophy.

John, Thanks for the great trip ysterday. We had a blast and I learned alot too. That big fish was 9.10 lbs on the scale at home 5 hrs later. I put alot of fillets in the frezzer after I was done cleaning all of those fish. If anyone wants to have a great trip and not mess with hauling your own boat, John is a great guy to go with.
