Launched T falls 6:30, headed south a bit to set up shop on a North troll, started out with two ten color lead cores, two five color and riggers set at 44 and 55 with cheaters. Pretty much non stop action in 50-70 for most of the morning four browns, many salmon, one keeper, half dozen Lakers mostly small. Made our way to Omalleys with a cooler full of fish by 11:30. Too much fun!

Our best spoon and color was chartruse and orange speed was 2.88-3.22 that speed didn't keep the Lakers off. Depth was either50-70 or out deep wherever there was a bait pod.

Heard there was search and rescued going on. Was going to try tomorrow if no rain but I just read their might be a search going on.

Wow looks like they haven't found the person yet, thoughts n prayers to the family..

Yeah I didn't mean to be rude I just didn't want to impede on the search. Looks like rain anyway. Maybe give it a go out Sheldrake after the rain. Got a new 4 HP kicker I wanna try. I don't think it will work being a shorter shaft. I can get down to 0.9 on the surface with main motor but I rather not use it for trolling.

Pretty much the same here plenty of LLs in the 16" to 20" range green worked best for us as the morning wore on we switched to blues. Everything went back but two which got beat up pretty bad these will be great fish for this winter or next spring. Cayuga has the potential for a quality fishery for a few years, no bows this trip, we worked the Myers area with the 50' range have the temp we looked for. We did several small lakers but we stayed up high.
