At the risk of sounding like a broken record I will report a tough day today. Fish were scattered all over. Best presentation for us were the cheaters on deep riggers and 8 and 10 color cores. See if we can beat the surf in the am

Day 2 Sunday 8-21: not better today but rougher with pelting squalls. Managed only 1 decent King today but sure felt great to feel land under our feet when we got back in

Trolling I 39 in Illinois today. I think we were hitting 4 footers here too! Be good place for a road!
