Dipsey Diver

I recently purchased a few second hand dipsey divers.  Two of them have a lead fender washer (lack of better term) sandwiched between the two plastic parts.  I doubt dive charts will be of much use.  I think the beggars will get deep.  

 

What are they called? Are they still available?
