Heading up to the Cape Friday......any report on smallmouth? Also, looking for any report on the water level......has it gone down much since July?

caught a few 2 weeks ago near the brake wall, not much size, also caught 100 perch we kept 20  that ranged between 8 and 12 inches. for us minnows were key. good luck

Water level is about the same as July. Just got back spent a week at Kring Point SP. Fishing was good. We found fish on shoals from 15 to 30 ft. of water. Fish are scattered around  caught 1 to 5 fish per shoal. You will have to move around. Caught them on the drop shot and on tubes. Good Luck, be safe.

Thanks.....I'm hoping I'll be able to launch at Burnham Point! If the water is about the same then I should be OK.

Caught a limit in 30 min drop shotting crabs in 25-35 fow on Sunday...... Alex bay area..... Water levels are down a bit from july..... The boat at the dock is riding lower than it was just a few weeks ago. Good luck!!

We found them.. Nothing crazy except this slob my boy got. Lots of little ones though.. Which I take as a good sign

Very nice fish! I was catching many shorts the other day too. Has to Be a good thing, right? Glad you were on the fish and the kiddies had fun. Looks like some good memories being made.

Oh yeah.... Absolute blast... We were up with the RV in July but had momma and a baby with us so made a quick tent trip to Burham to get some serious fishing time in, just the boys!
