Is the water depth in the channel ok to get out to the lake. Is the dredging a problem?

I live on the bay and keep a 15 foot boat docked there. The mouth of the bay has always been sketchy, and it always will be.

The "channel " moves, and has minimal temporary markers. Can't remember an August when you couldn't walk across it without getting your butt wet.
