The knot in Tim's pics is fail safe. I have eliminated the overhand knot and simply half hitch to the swivel and secure the tag end with a crimp sleeve. The half hitch is what is doing all of the load bearing anyways. It makes a nice neat termination.

The purpose of the knot is so you do not have to mess around with crimping and additional terminal tackle along wih it being very easy and quick to tie. Went to the knot last year and it saves time and money

I've used this knot to terminate my rigger wire to a heavy snap swivel for two years with no problems.. I used it the first time as an emergency repair on the water, but now use it for all my wires..
