Hit a doe tonight. 60 yds, did the hind leg kick and took off. No blood, backed out, hopefully get her tomorrow.

Congrats. Late season hunts can be productive when the hunting pressure has lessened,

Very interesting! There's some revealing footage in there as to behavior in front of the camera and other reactions, too. Bunch of nice bucks!

No luck recovering the doe. 2 of us looked since first light. Covered the entire brush lot up to posted property. 3 inches of fresh snow hurt. It sucks.

When they aren't mortally wounded they can travel a lot further than you might think Hop. All you can do is try your best. I remember looking for a huge buck north of Sampson for hours yers ago in the dark and then the next day and even navigating down a ravine without success. It still bothers me a bit not finding it but I'm pretty sure other hunters found him first.  It sucks especially with the snowfall but it is also part of the game for many folks. Don't give up you'll get one yet. :)

Back in the same spot I have hunted all week. Even more snow today but it looks like it's finally going to give us a break. Loooooong walk in but I'm here and I'm much earlier than I have been all week.
